Cobra, the generic version of the drug, is now available in the United States, with some doctors in the United States telling the Associated Press that it is the most cost-effective drug in the drug class.

"There is a very high risk of serious adverse drug reactions (ADRs), which can occur at any time, but the risk is higher with Cobra than with other drugs."
The FDA also has required Cobra to carry the same level of warnings for Celebrex, sold in tablets as CeleX, for use in children and on the market in adults.
The company said it will update the labeling to include the warnings for the Celebrex.
"This has been a major victory for the company, and we look forward to welcoming the new FDA commissioner in chief," said Daniel Williams, executive vice president of the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America. "We are excited to welcome Cobra back as the brand name for Celebrex."
The company said it will update the label to include the warnings about a boxed warning for the drug.
